THE THERAPY BUBBLE

William Thomson
Counselling & Psychotherapy
I am aware that it takes courage and a willingness to take the first steps to ask for help. If you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or depressed and you are sitting with a problem that may be made worse by a loss or past experience
or you are stuck and can’t move forward, it can be beneficial to speak in confidence with someone who is not immediately involved within your circle.
TESTIMONIALS
I was quite ambivalent about counselling and really did not know what to expect. I even chickened out the first time I attempted to sign up! However, when having therapy with William, I very quickly felt safe and at ease to speak my mind and talk about various issues which was not something I had experienced before. I have gained far more from this experience than I ever could have imagined and I feel far more confident to face challenges in the future having had this space to address my thoughts and emotions with regards to previous difficult situations. William has a very approachable and kind nature that makes him easy to talk to and he was able to help me understand and reflect on situations to frame them in a manner that specifically made sense to me. I cannot thank him enough for the work that we have accomplished together in my therapy.

I'm is an experienced person centred counsellor, I have worked with people who have had a variety of concerns including, anxiety, low self-worth, depression, bereavement, loss, Loneliness, addiction, stress, low self-esteem, problems with life relationships and trauma.
I believe that by offering individuals the ‘right’ conditions they will form a therapeutic relationship and in turn facilitate a positive change within themselves. By attending counselling sessions with me, individuals are encouraged to explore their difficulties within the sessions led and steered by the individual with the counsellor being there to support and facilitate.
I offer a calm, safe, non-judgemental, empathetic, therapeutic service in a confidential space where individuals can explore their thoughts, feelings, and emotions openly, gaining a deeper understanding of themselves and finding their own solution to their issues in the process.
